The Men’s 4.0 Doubles at the 2008 Centre Court KFC/Jones Soda/24c Nebraska Closed Tennis Tournament played in Fremont, NE July 11-13 had seven teams entered.
The champions were the # 1 seeds, Ron Goodman and Keith Nielsen who defeated Maurice Higgins and Jeff Schoch 7-5, 6-2 in the final.
The Fremont team of Mark Leahy and Paul Ronhovde were defeated in the semifinals in a 3-set match by the eventual champions, Ron Goodman and Keith Neilsen 6-0, 4-6, 6-1.
Another Fremont team, Roland Augspurger of Columbus, and Mike Willman of Fremont were defeated in the semifinals by the runner up team of Marucie Higgins and Jeff Schoch 7-5, 6-2.
