Lincoln Southwest blanks Fremont Lady Tigers

Fremont High Girls TennisThe Fremont Lady Tigers were short some key players on Thursday, April 22 as they faced Lincoln Southwest, one of the top teams in the state. The end result was a 9-0 loss for Fremont.

Some of the key players had commitments to other activities. However, coach Heidi Moran said the team performed well. “Lincoln Southwest is in the top three in the state,” she said. “So with our absences it made for a tough day but the Tigers played hard.” [Read more →]

Lady Tigers Take it to Columbus

Fremont High Girls TennisThe Fremont High girl’s tennis team proved too strong for the Columbus Discoverers on Tuesday, April 20, posting a 6-3 win.

Fremont won four singles matches with strong play from Jessica Spalding, Jessye Johnson, Erin Eairleywine, and Amy Ahrens. Two doubles matches were won by Jessye Johnson/Erin Eairleywine and Sydney Robertson/Carly Gross.
