The court resurfacing has been started, but they are only working on four courts at a time. That leaves us plenty of courts for leagues this Wednesday.

We will be playing leagues. See you there!

2010 Ladies Summer Tennis League Registration now taking place

The ladies tennis leagues are now forming. If you didn’t get a registration form in the mail, or have lost yours, or haven’t participated in previous years, you may still get signed up. You can download an entry form right here and get signed up for the 2010 ladies summer leagues.
Basic Details:

Play begins May 25 (Tues) or May 27 (Thurs).
You may play on Tuesday, 8:45 a.m. and/or Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
Play continues through August 12.
You may play in one league and sub in the other.
You must be a member of the FTA to play these leagues. Anyone may join.

Cost

League Fee of $10 for adults, $3 for juniors.
FTA Membership of $10 for adult, $4 for Junior, of $20 for family.

Summer Men’s League Now Forming

If you didn’t get an entry form in your mailbox yet, lost yours, or haven’t participated in previous years don’t worry. You can download an entry form right here and get signed up for the summer leagues.

Basic Details:

League is open to all skill levels.
Starting times are 6pm for singles and about 7:30 for doubles.
Play is each Wednesday from May 5, 2010 until the end of summer.
High School and College players are encouraged to play.
You may play singles, doubles, or both each week.
You must be a member of the FTA to play this league. Anyone may join.
You are not required to find a sub. Play when you can.
Balls are provided.

Cost:

League Fee of $20.
FTA Membership of $10 for adult, $3 for junior or $20 for a family.

Women’s Summer Leagues now forming

The Women’s 2009 Summer Tennis Leagues are now forming. An entry form is available at
Women’s Summer League entry form.

There are two women’s league opportunities. Both are played as doubles teams on a rotating partners basis. One league will be played Tuesday mornings at 8:45 a.m. and the other on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. League play begins May 19 for the Tuesday a.m. league, and May 21 for the Thursday p.m. league.

Men’s Summer Leagues now forming

The Men’s 2009 Summer Tennis Leagues are now forming. Please sign up using the entry form available at Men’s Summer League entry form.

League play will begin May 6, 2009 at the Fremont High School Tennis Complex.

The league is for all levels of play, and includes High School and college players. Come all tennis players and join the fun.

2008 Fall League deadline

The 2008 Fall tennis leagues at the Fremont Family YMCA are now forming.

The deadline for registering is Wednesday, August 27, one week from today. If you haven’t yet registered for the league(s) or Permanent Court Time of your choice, better do it quickly. You only have one week left.
